This is not a traditional fishing lodge program, nor is it a pure game drive safari. Instead, it is a unique and thoughtfully designed blend of both – delivering legitimate tigerfish angling alongside world-class game viewing in a remote and wildly scenic setting. Based out of a small, intimate, and high-end island camp in the eastern reaches of Lower Zambezi National Park, this program is built for anglers and travelers who want more than just time on the water. Here, your days may include morning sessions to stalk aggressive tigerfish along structure-rich riverbanks, drifting past pods of hippos, or exploring small side-channels of the Zambezi in search of multiple fish species. Afternoons can be spent on a traditional game drive, where you explore and search the expanses of the Lower Zambezi National Park for elephants, lions, leopards, honey badgers, cape buffalo, impala, kudu, hippos, crocodiles, water buck, African wild dogs, zebras, and dozens of other bird and animal species.
